How To Book The Photo Shoot

To initiate the booking process, please click HERE to access and submit the contact form.  Upon confirmation of your booking, you can expect an email reply within 48 hours, which will include available dates and other essential details. If you decide to proceed, you will be required to make a non-refundable retainer fee payment.

Before The Photo Shoot

Following the booking of your portrait photo session, Cody would like to arrange a brief phone call or text message consultation. This step is designed to learn more about you, your desired image style, and to discuss elements like wardrobe and pricing.

Please be prepared to sign a Model Release and Client/Photographer Agreement.

A reminder email with session details, including the shoot location, parking information, and an emergency contact number, will be sent to you during the week leading up to your session.


On The Day Of Your Photo Shoot

Upon arrival at the set, we will review your chosen outfits and take some time to get to know each other better. This is also when we'll go through your clothing options together. I welcome mood boards as a source of inspiration for understanding your preferred style, although please note that we won't replicate specific images; instead, they will guide our creative process.

The actual photo session typically lasts about 1 hour.


During The Photo Shoot

During the shoot, you can expect a more relaxed experience compared to other photo sessions you may have had. My aim is to capture your authentic self, and I'm committed to ensuring you feel safe, comfortable, and free to be yourself. You'll receive guidance throughout the process, including posing, so there's no need to stress about it. I promise it will be an enjoyable experience! Your only task is to trust me, and I guarantee we'll create stunning images that you'll cherish.

After The Photo Shoot

Following the conclusion of the photo session, you'll schedule an appointment for your photo reveal and ordering session with Cody Michaels.

During this appointment, we will review the unedited images from the photo shoot, allowing you to make your selections and finalize your purchases.

Once you've chosen your desired photos, Cody will proceed to retouch and enhance your selected digital images.
